The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently going to the Fernie 2 Group Hall in Mpuluzi to render solutions towards the community.

SASSA are going to be rendering expert services such as new social grant applications, change of payment method, client treatment enquiries, together with the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In an announcement, the agency mentioned it truly is alarmed with regard to the significant variety of people relying on social grants for survival.
“The aim on the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to some superior variety of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This can be because of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no entirely functional office committed to service the area every day. The assistance issue produced for intervention activities a higher influx of possible beneficiaries, which sassa status makes it challenging for your office to attend to all people who visit a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise a lot more sources to allow the servicing of all shoppers and enhance usage of Social Assistance expert services,” the agency said.
